The University of Minnesotaâ??s Split Rock Arts Program is a summer series of weeklong workshops in visual arts, creative writing, fine crafts, and creativity development. Choose from 40 workshops led by eminent artists and writers from across the country and around the world. Draw and paint; write poetry, stories, memoirs, novels, and personal essays; explore fabric dyeing, beading, and weaving; sculpt in clay, wire, or mixed media; workshops with outstanding ethnic artists; and more.
Workshops are held in July and August on the University of Minnesotaâ??s Duluth campus overlooking the glistening waters of Lake Superior.
